Busy, busy, busy !
As I busy myself with tasks arising from my participation in MarketingWithAlex 2.0, I find myself hearing Alex’s voice repeating key phrases from the webinars that we’ve had.
Personally, I love sayings, proverbs, aphorisms and the like. They often hold great wisdom. Yesterday, I mentioned one of my personal favourites – I’m not sure who first came up with it … maybe it was me !
“Everybody is stupid about something.”
In fact, I’d add an important corollary to that:
“What you’re stupid about changes over time !”
These sound bites can serve as useful mantras to keep us focussed as we work towards our goals. Here are some of my favourites from Alex so far …
- An idiot with a plan will always beat a genius with no plan.
- Don’t be a busy fool !
- Fashion fades, style sticks !
- Winning means being unafraid to lose.
- Don’t get it right, get it going !
- Start small, think big !
- Plan for success
I’m sure that there must be others, what are your favourites ? Not just from Alex but from elsewhere too.
