Make Money from Memberships

October 26th, 2009

FURTHER UPDATE, Tuesday 3rd November: Yaro has just re-opened the doors for another 24 hours for last-chance sign-ups. More details here. After today, that’s it for this year.

UPDATE: Turns out that Yaro is closing the doors on his programme at midnight tonight, that’s Friday 30th October ! (Judging from the countdown clock on the sign-up page, I think that’s midnight Eastern Time, 4am Saturday morning in the UK.)

So if you’re at all interested in what he calls “… By Far — The Best Business Model Ever Conceived Online !”, then I strongly suggest that you get over to Yaro’s web site NOW !

When I started blogging, I started to look around at how the top bloggers did it. One or two names kept recurring in my research. The one I saw most often was that of Yaro Starak.

Both of Yaro’s blogging courses run on a membership basis. It was on the back of his experiences in running these, and the questions that he got about how he did it, that he realised that there was a huge demand for good solid information about how to set up and run profitable membership programmes.

But can you believe that this guy ran not one but two highly profitable membership programs in a year whilst travelling around the world ? This video tells you more  …

    Hi Roger,

Interesting video, or more exactly, how the two people he mention are creating successful blogs.

One thing they have in common is the knowledge they possess in the niches they are pursuing…something which can be a roadblock for some.

I did opt-in for his eBook…wonder what the course costs. :)

but then another course is the last thing I need, or more precisely, can afford at the moment.

    Cheers,
    Rod

Hi Rod – if nothing else, I’m sure that you’ll find Yaro’s free materials useful. I have some of his other free ebooks and in my humble opinion, they are all worth studying.

Maybe you’ll be able to put the knowledge to use further down the line.

    All the best,

    Roger

    Hi Roger,

I’m sure I will and may just grab his others.

I just finally got around to listening to the modules from Rob Canyon’s course so, while I’m sure it’s worthwhile, Yaro’s course isn’t really an option for me at this time.

    Need to catch up.

    Cheers,
    Rod

    Roger,

Yaro knows his stuff. Keep pressing on with success.

And we’ll see you at the top lickety split.

    Cheers,

    Rob

    Hi Roger,

Yaro Starak is in my good books too. I would love to take one of his courses but like Rod just don’t have any more space for it. Maybe some day down the road.

Have you signed up for Yaro’s membership or are you taking his blogging course?

I’d be interested in knowing how they are working out for you. Perhaps you could write about that in your next post?

    I’ll be in touch.

    Vance

Hi Vance – actually I’m not a student of one of Yaro’s paid courses, though I have been through the free basic course that he provides at becomeablogger.com. This is a JV with Gideon Shalwick who is a master at both the nuts and bolts of producing videos, and explaining how to do just that to the lay person. For anybody just finding their way with the mechanics of setting up a blog, I’d highly recommend this. They do have a premium course which takes things further, so it isn’t free, but it always seems to be spoken of highly. It’s not open for students at the moment, but it’s worth signing up for the becomeablogger free ebook, just so that you are “in the loop” when it is reopened … just so that you have the option if you are interested.

Whilst we’re on the subject of free ebooks, I think that Yaro’s are absolutely top notch examples of how to do it. My guess is that there are people out there charging sizable sums for the kind of content that he gives away for nothing ! Besides the one I just mentioned, he has a more advanced blogging report called Blog Profits Blueprint, which is the feed in to his Blog Mastermind program (which is always open to new students), and one on The Membership Site Masterplan (which obviously feeds in to the course that I was speaking about last week. For any new viewers of this post, that course is closed for now, but hopefully it will be open again next year. As noted before, it would probably be best to sign up for the free ebook and that way, you’ll be sure to hear when Yaro takes more students.

Before I go, let me tease you a little … One thing I do intend to blog about very soon is another approach to membership sites from somebody who is a big mover in the internet marketing world, though he’s not terribly well know. He has an interesting offer out there at the moment and I am looking in to it. When I’ve finished my investigations, I shall probably be blogging about it.

    Stay tuned …
